Mihai David, President of COGEN Romania, appointed to the Executive Committee of COGEN Europe

The Executive Committee of COGEN Europe consists of 12 leading cogeneration experts, each representing a national COGEN association or a full member of the organization. Under the chairmanship of the President of COGEN Europe and assisted by the Director-General, the Committee meets four times a year, with the aim of both supervising COGEN Europe's activities and contributing to the formulation of public policies in the field.

The role of the Executive Board is essential in ensuring the effective management of COGEN Europe. His responsibilities include monitoring the organization's operations, advising the management team on financial and human resources management, as well as providing strategic directions for promoting cogeneration in Europe. Committee members also play a decisive role in defining the organisation's policies, with a direct impact on the evolution of the energy sector at European level.

As of June this year, Mr. Mihai David, President of COGEN Romania, has been appointed member of the Executive Committee of COGEN Europe. His appointment is a recognition of the supported steps that COGEN Romania is undertaking to promote high efficiency cogeneration in Romania. At the same time, a better European knowledge of the problems facing the warming population in Romania is ensured in the light of the latest European regulations in force, having the opportunity to support the transformations that this sector has to go through in our country.
